C is for "Charity"

there are so many other "C" words i thought about today like "cutting" and "crying"...

but i chose "charity" instead. i'll save tragedy for the letter "T"

some of my favorite charities are:

Locks of Love is a charity that takes donated hair and makes prosthetic wigs for disadvantaged children in need.

i love this charity because anyone can donate. all it takes is 10" of clean, unprocessed hair!

Animal Trustees of Austin is a wonderful local animal charity that

helps lost, abused, and abandoned animals. they also help to offer low

cost spays/neuters and low cost veterinary care. you can follow them

The Texas Mamma Jamma Ride is a recreational bike ride to raise much needed funds for our central Texas neighbors coping with breast cancer. This festive event saves and improves lives by supporting 10 local nonprofit organizations providing diagnosis, counseling, medication, and support for thousands of our neighbors coping with breast cancer.
